AUDIO MIXERS

 

 

The Australian Monitor AMC+Mix is our basic, ‘no frills’ mixer that still features superb build quality and reliability from this world renowned manufacturer. The AMC+Mix features 4 input channels, any of which can be for microphones or music/media players.

 

The Alesis iMultiMix9R is a popular choice for our customers who need a good quality sound system at a competitive price. The 9 channel vertically rack mounted mixer features a very convenient integral iPod dock for added flexibility.

The Behringer RX1202FX has an increased quantity of input channels which is useful where more microphones need to be connected. This model also features an integral 100 sound FX processor!

Soundcraft is a British brand name which is synomynous with professional audio quality. This is the EPM12 which, whilst being one of their smallest mixers, still offers you superb sonic performance and reliability. With 12 input channels and a logical control layout, the EPM12 is easy for all to use after our training session.

If you need a more versatile mixing desk whilst still opting for a recognised top brand name, we recommend the Yamaha MG166CX. This versatile 16 channel unit features individual compression circuitry on each channel to avoid signal overload when using microphones or musical instruments as well as a fully asignable special sound FX sectionwhich can also provide some superb audio performance results.

 

The Yamaha LS9-32 is a top-line digital sound mixing desk that has become ‘standard issue’ in many entertainmnet venues and schools at secondary level education. The LS9 console follows in the distinguished footsteps of the Yamaha PM1D, PM5D, and M7CL, expanding Yamaha’s digital mixing console lineup for live sound and installations. The LS9-32 is a 32-mic/line input 64-channel mixer which includes features that have been field-proven in previous Yamaha digital consoles as well as outstanding sonic quality. In addition to an extensive range of gating, compression, and equalization capabilities, there’s also a built-in USB memory recorder/player for recording or BGM playback and other functionality that give you everything you need for small to medium scale live sound or installed applications in a remarkably compact, all-in-one console.

MEDIA PLAYERS / RECORDERS

 

The Denon DN-C110P is an ‘industry standard’ for CD players in audio installations. Extremely reliable and so easy to use, this product is highly recommended.

The DAP DS-610 takes the concept of media player one step further. With a professional standard CD/MP3CD replay mechanism, this model has the added feature of a front panel USB memory stick connection socket.

Our top-of-the-range single CD player, the CD-200i is a unique combination of rack mount CD player with a dock for Apple’s iPod® music player.  The iPod can be controlled from the front-panel or wireless remote, including transport control, album navigation and more. The iPod is charged from the dock connector and it’ll even play back video!

iDec gives you professional rack integration of your iPod into any live performance or music rig. With digital audio and video playback and quality audio recording, large transport controls enable easy iPod operation even on stage or in dark environments. iDec is the ideal pro-grade solution for iPod recording or music and video playback.

MICROPHONES

We recommend microphones from Audio Technica of Japan. Their cabled and wireless product range is as comprehensive as their European and American competitors and extends from high quality budget systems right up to premium top-flight professional products used by many world famous performers.

AMPLIFIERS

For most of our ‘mainstream’ sound system installations, we rely on the Palladium Vintage range of power amplifiers from DAP of Holland. Their P Series combines power and relaibility at affordable prices.

 

For our ‘premium performance’ systems, we always specify GX Series amplifiers from QSC, USA. They feature all the hallmarks of the QSC brand – professional audio quality, meticulous engineering, precision manufacturing and long term reliability. Add contemporary styling, multiple input/output options and advanced protection circuitry and the GX Series clearly represents real value.

LOUDSPEAKERS

 

 

 

 

The L2 Audio ‘TM Series’ loudspeakers are British designed by pro audio engineers with many years of industry experience. The results are a range of great looking products with an outstanding performance giving you ‘best in class’ value for money. These are painted plywood trapezoidal cabinets and not the usual ‘fuzzy carpet’ covered ‘disco’ boxes you might normally expect at this great price point.
