'Man Size' Portable PA/AV Systems

Now Available From RealSound!

Having supplied hundreds of small portable PA systems to our many happy customers, as well as supplying and installing much larger systems as permanent fixtures, we're pleased to announce that we have combined both market sectors to now launch our 'large format' portable PA/AV/Lighting systems service.

Selecting key components for these custom designed and custom assembled systems, our first client recently took delivery of a 1,000 watt pro audio package featuring products from Soundcraft, Crown, Denon, Audio Technica and dB Technologies plus a remotely CAT5 controlled Mitsubishi 4,500 lumen projector compete with three inter-changeable lenses plus a spare lamp - just in case!

Teamed up with the flight cased main equipment rack, the speakers, projector, lenses, spare lamp, speaker stands, AV trolleys, cables and connectors all had their own custom made flight cases too. Being a very fast track order, the flight cases were ordered, manufactured and delivered in just 5 working days.

We are pleased to report that we're now working on similar systems for two more clients - with one project also featuring a large mobile stage lighting system.

Wolverhampton City Council Contract Award

RealSound and Vision Ltd are very pleased to announce that they have been awarded a two year exclusive contract to supply Mipro wireless portable PA systems throughout Wolverhampton City Council's education, leisure and care facilities estate. The first order for 148 systems is currently being shipped with more orders to follow in 2010.

New Community Events Centre for Machynlleth, Mid Wales

Officially opened on 6th November, the new Y Plas Events Centre is a council owned venue that will be hosting musicals, pantomimes, wedding receptions, dinner dances, music recitals, live rock bands, lecture style presentations and amateur dramatics. RealSound were awarded the contract to supply and install the versatile professional sound, lighting and audio visual facilities by Councillor Bob Dunn (pictured above with RealSound's MD David Nibbs). We are pleased to report that our client is extremely happy with the quality of our work and the performance of their system. 14th October - 'We Will Rock You' rocks at The Tunnels!

The touring cast of the hit musical We Will Rock

You held an after show party gig at live music

venue The Tunnels in Bristol in aid of charity.

Performing a wide range of pop, blues and rock 'n'

roll classics (but no Queen numbers for a change!),

all the lead performers / singers, the support cast

and their backing band took part and a great

evening was had by all!

The sound rig, designed, supplied and installed by RealSound certainly stood up to the demands of this great team of professional performers.

The musical itself is live on stage at the Bristol Hippodrome until Saturday 31st October '09. Future dates are:

Edinburgh Playhouse from 4th November to 9th January and The O2, Dublin from 20th January to 31st January.

To cater for the forthcoming wide range of visiting

designed, supplied and installed the entire

professional sound system featuring Community

house PA speakers, JBL stage monitors, QSC

amplification, a 32 channel Soundcraft mixing

desk, Shure and Audio Technica microphones

plus audio processors from Lexicon, DBX, Kramer

and Behringer.

We have also provided the stage lighting rig comprising of 24kW of Parcans, Geni back-of-stage LED blinders and Geni 'intelligent moving head' fittings. The lighting system is powered by Zero 88 dimmer packs and a Zero 88 DMX control desk.

New Live Music Venue for Bristol

RealSound and Vision is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to supply and install a full live performance PA sound system and stage lighting rig at a new venue in Bristol. Located beneath the city centre Bristol Temple Meads railway station(!) it will be known as The Tunnels. With an equipment specification sure to meet with the approval of visiting bands, the sound system includes products from Soundcraft, QSC, DBX, Lexicon and Community with the static and moving head lighting system being based around Zero 88 DMX control.

The Tunnels is owned by 1980's England rugby star Gareth Chilcott.

Work on site is currently progressing at a good pace with the grand opening set for

Saturday 5th September 2009.

Gareth will certainly be reporting back with his comments once we've finished the project!

Pro audio equipment is highly sensitive and very susceptible to the ravages of hostile weather conditions. High fidelity loudspeaker systems have never been items that one would leave out in the rain, fog or humidity, let alone rain, fog or humidity that is very high in salt content.
