LED Stage Lighting
The Benefits
We are a major ‘champion’ of LED stage lighting and firmly believe that it is the positive way forward within many venues for several reasons…
Each light fitting is controlled by multiple DMX signal channels to give you fully programmable dimming and RGB colour mixing (plus pan and tilt motion, gobo control, etc. where available) from a suitable lighting desk. Colour gels are a thing of the past!

Each fitting draws a fraction of its generic light equivalent. This removes the need for dimmer packs and heavy duty mains power cabling – and the inherent cost of their installation.
Each fitting is controlled by multiple DMX signal channels from a suitable lighting desk to give you fully programmable dimming and full RGB colour mixing as well as remote control pan and tilt motion and gobo control, etc. where available. Colour gels are a thing of the past!
Latest technology high power LEDs have a rated life of 50,000 hours. That equates to nearly 6 years of continuous 24/7 use! In other words, you’ll never need to buy a replacement lamp again.
Low power consumption and total lack of ‘consumable’ replacement items certainly make LED stage lights environmentally friendly.
What Is A ‘Standard’ LED Parcan?
We sometimes get asked to quote for ‘x’ number of standard LED Parcans for small stage lighting installations but actually there is no longer any such thing as a ‘standard’ Par 64 LED Parcan!
The more basic red/green/blue individual LED Parcans feature 12 of each colour in one fitting, but there are then two different power ratings – 1W and 3W. This means that such a fitting can be 36 x 1W or 36 x 3W – which makes an enormous difference to the end result! We no longer specify the 1W version, unless they are purely for ‘ambient’ lighting purposes, but many competitors still do so in order to appear so much cheaper without actually quoting the power rating. So make sure that you check out the tech spec when looking over any LED stage lighting quotation.
We actually now provide mostly tri-colour LED technology wherein red, green and blue elements are all within the one LED ‘bulb’. The operational advantages of tri-colour LED technology are many and significant. Please see below for more details.
LED Stage Lighting Systems
Fully installed systems from less than £2,500 including internally wired lighting bar, ceiling fixings, professional LED lights, DMX control desk, data cabling and nationwide installation!
This is how we assemble our systems:
- We specify lighting bars in lengths of 2m, 3m, 4m, 5m or 6m. They are internally wired with 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 or 10 mains power outlet sockets – one for each stage light fitting.
- We have then offer 4 different stage lights in various quantities and permutations to give you lighting schemes of different sizes and at different price points, offering static stage lights only or a combination of static and scanning models.
- There are 2 static stage lights, known as the Omni Tri-9 and the WA-36. The Omni Tri-9 features 9 x 9W tri-colour RGB LEDs for astounding brightness and depth of colours. The WA-36 features 24 x 3W white LEDs and 12 x 3W amber LEDs. This model provides you with true white for general stage illumination and, when combined with varying degrees of amber, you can adjust the ‘temperature’ of the white light from cool to warm, specifically to your own requirements. Both the Omni Tri-9 and the WA-36 are supplied, as standard, with 4 leaf barn doors to control beam coverage. (See further down this page for more details).
- The static stage lights can then be augmented with LED scanners or moving heads . Both based on an extremely powerful single 60W white LED source, they are kniwn as the Intimidator Scan 300 and the Indigo 4500. Both models features numerous colours and gobos (patterns) as well as various static and motorised overlay effects. The fundamental difference between them is that the Intimidator Scan 300 is a moving mirror scanner and the Indigo 4500 is a moving head. With the entire fitting being able to pan and tilt in all directions, the coverage of the Indigo 4500 is wider and therefore its operational versatility is higher than the scanner equivalent. - We then include a 24 or 48 channel DMX lighting desk, as appropriate, complete with its own flight case. With 24 channel faders for direct control of colours on all the static fittings, the Showmaster 24 is also capable of string up to 48 pre-programmed set lighting ‘scenes. The 48 channel version is included where there are scanners or moving heads in the lighting scheme as more control channels are needed for selection of their postion, colour, gobo, etc. The Showmaster 48 has a 96 lighting scene capacity. (See further down this page for more details).
- For ease of use, we are now supplying wall mounted panels which are pre-programmed (from your lighting desk) to store mutiple lighting scenes for instant recall. These are very useful where you need instant access to the lighting rig but don’t want to have to get out the desk, plug it in and fire it up! These scene set panels are great for any unskilled operator to use. Known as the ‘Anyscene’ and the ‘Anyscene 2′, they can store up to 7 and 23 lighting scenes respectively. So, with your ‘hardware’ selected, you then need to allow for our cabling and installation services which are subject to a site survey. Please note that our installation includes one-to-one operator training to ensure that you get maximum benefit and value from your new acquisition.

The Stage Par 64 (pictured left above) features 12 x red, 12 x green and 12 x blue 3 Watt LEDs to produce virtually any colour imaginable within the full visible spectrum for exceptional versatility. A continuous range of colours and ultra-smooth colour scrolling can be achieved by varying the intensity of each LED colour channel from 0-100%. In addition to RGB colour mixing, the Stage Par 64 offers users all the other advantages of LED technology. With long-life LED lamps rated at up to 50,000 hours, this Parcan will require virtually no servicing or lamp replacements and it will consistently produce the highest quality of output without colour fading.
The Multipar Zoom (pictured right above) is a high output DMX compatible Parcan loaded with professional features including smooth RGB colour mixing, electronic dimming and colour strobing. The Par 64 LED Zoom features 24 x 3W LEDs – 8 red, 8 green and 8 blue. However, their unique feature is that you can remotely control the beam angle between 10 and 60 degrees. Simply operated by one of the lighting desk faders, these fittings double up as floodlights or spotlights, colour washing the stage or highlighting individual stage areas or performers.

The Omni Tri 9 features a new development in LED technology. This DMX controllable high output RGB theatrical light with 9 x 9W LEDs will outshine bigger, more energy hungry par cans in almost any application. Thanks to its cutting edge Tri Colour LED technology, the unit produces superior mixed colours to those created by conventional LED RGB par cans. Each of the 9W LEDs is actually a 3 in 1 lamp, comprised of 3 different coloured LEDs: 3W red, 3W green and 3W blue. This allows RGB colours to be created within each individual lens, so that all 9 lamps remain on during the colour mixing process. The result is smoother, more evenly mixed colours.
Another advantage of tri colour technology is that it creates a better range of white shades. Featuring flicker-free operation, along with its evenly blended colours and high-quality whites, the unit is ideal for video production, too. The Omni Tri 9 includes a variable strobe and built-in colour macros to match popular gel colours. Beam angle can be adjusted down from its 25 degree angle with the supplied barn doors.

The Omni WA-36 is a new LED theatre spot containing 36 mega bright 3W LEDs where not only can you control two separate colours but you can also take control of colour temperatures ranging from 1500k – 7000k (warm white to a cool white), making this an ideal fixture for where both Amber and White colours are needed in one unit.
Featuring 400Hz flicker-free operation and high-quality LEDs, the unit is ideal for video production, theatre and stage use. Beam angle can be adjusted down from its standard 30 degrees with the supplied barn doors and a filter frame is also included for extra functionality.

The Intimidator Scan LED 300 brings latest LED technology to the world of remote control moving lights. It has an extremely bright single 60W LED as its light source that will never need replacing for the life of the scanner itself.
It features multiple colours and gobos (patterns) combined with several overlay features including a 3 way motorised prism. Controlled via multiple DMX channels. the Intimidator Scan LED 300 will add dazzling animation to your lighting rig.

Staying with LED technology, the Indigo 4500 moving head light is also equipped with a 60W white LED. It includes a colour wheel plus two gobo wheels, one with seven rotating gobos plus open. It also includes remote focus and a rotating prism. This ‘intelligent’ light fitting is fully DMX controllable, giving you movement in two planes, multiple colours and projected patterns plus all the long term benefits of LED technology.
The Control Desks
The Showmaster 24 is a 24 channel DMX console with 24 1-bank faders or 12 2-bank faders. The Showmaster therefore controls 2 x 12 channels (single bank) or 24 individual channels. The Showmaster 24 can program 48 scenes or chases of 999 steps or a loop with a total of 11988 steps. Programmes can be run automatically or by external or internal music input. It is also possible to control your lightshow by the built in MIDI-interface to a allow a real-time live show to your music.
The Showmaster 48 is a 48 channel DMX console.The Showmaster 48 is the big brother of the “standard” Showmaster with 48 channels instead of 24! The Showmaster 48 is a 2-banks 24 fader, 1-bank 48 fader mixing console. The Showmaster 48 controls DMX and has also the capability to be used with MIDI protocol to allow real-time programs. The Showmaster 48 controls 2 x 24 channels (single bank) or 48 channels. The Showmaster 48 can program 96 scenes or chases of 999 steps or a loop with a total of 23,976 steps. Programmes can be run automatically or by external or internal music input. It is also possible to control your lightshow by the built-in MIDI-interface to allow a real-time live show to your music.
