Each fitting draws a fraction of its generic light equivalent. This removes the need for dimmer packs and heavy duty mains power cabling – and the inherent cost of their installation.
Latest technology high power LEDs have a rated life of 50,000 hours. That equates to nearly 6 years of continuous 24/7 use! In other words, you’ll never need to buy a replacement lamp again.
Low power consumption and total lack of ‘consumable’ replacement items certainly make LED stage lights environmentally friendly.

What Is An LED Parcan?…
We sometimes get asked to quote for ‘x’ number of ‘standard’ LED Parcans for small stage lighting installations but actually there is no longer any such thing as a ‘standard’ LED Parcan!
The more basic red/green/blue individual LED Parcans feature 12 of each colour in one fitting, but there are then two different power ratings – 1W and 3W. This means that such a fitting can be 36 x 1W or 36 x 3W – which makes an enormous difference to the end result! For stage lighting installations, we no longer specify the 1W version, unless they are purely for ‘ambient’ lighting purposes, but many competitors still do so in order to appear so much cheaper without actually quoting the power rating. So make sure that you check out the tech spec when looking over any LED stage lighting quote.
We now provide mostly tri-colour (red/green/blue) and quad-colour (red/green/blue/white or red/green/blue/amber) LED technology where all the colour elements are within the one 3W or 8W LED ‘bulb’. This gives you a much smoother and more accurate colour mix as all the colours emanate from one point source rather than mixing different colours that are separate and adjacent to each other.
LED Stage Lighting Systems
Fully installed systems from less than £2,500 including internally wired lighting bar, ceiling fixings, professional LED lights, DMX control desk, data cabling and nationwide installation!
This is how we assemble our systems:
- We specify lighting bars in lengths from 2 to 8 metres. These are internally wired with multiple mains power outlet sockets – one for each stage light fitting.
- We have then offer a number of different LED stage lights to create lighting schemes of different sizes, complexity and price points.
- Our most popular static LED stage light is currently a Par 64 Parcan featuring quad LEDs of red, green, blue and white. They have 18 x 8W LEDs for astounding brightness and depth of colours.The advantage of these fittings is that there is that pure white is featured as a standalone colour that can be varied in ‘temperature’ from cool to warm. This makes for a very versatile LED stage light.
- Another popular model is an RGBWA Multipar that features red, green, blue and white plus red, green, blue and amber quad LEDs for even greater colour control.

- The static stage lights can then be augmented with LED moving heads . The light source is an extremely powerful single white LED. They feature numerous colours and gobos (patterns) as well as various static and motorised overlay effects. With variable iris, shutter and focus (and zoom on certain models) plus a range of 540 degrees of pan and 270 degrees of tilt, our moving head stage lights bring your LED stage lighting rig alive!

- We then include a 24 or 48 channel DMX lighting desk, as appropriate, complete with its own flight case. With 24 channel faders for direct control of colours on all the static fittings, the Showmaster 24 is also capable of storing up to 48 pre-programmed set lighting ‘scenes. The 48 channel version is included where there are moving heads in the lighting scheme as they require more control channels. The Showmaster 48 has a 96 lighting scene capacity.

- For ease of use, we are also now supplying optional wall mounted panels which are pre-programmed (from your lighting desk) to store multiple lighting scenes for instant recall. These are very useful where you need instant access to the lighting rig but don’t want to have to get out the desk, plug it in and fire it up! These scene set panels are great for any unskilled operator to use.
- So, with your ‘hardware’ selected, you then need to allow for our cabling and installation services which are subject to a site survey. Please note that our installation includes one-to-one operator training to ensure that you get maximum benefit and value from your new acquisition.

Otherwise known as intelligent lighting or moving yoke lighting, we supply a comprehensive range based on high power LED or discharge lamp technology. With full multi channel DMX control, moving heads provide you with full RGB colour mixing as well as motorised prisms and gobos to project patterns and, in some models, variable iris control to adjust the beam diameter.
